如何使用hostmonster的Add on来绑定域名

Hostmonster的addon绑定域名，千万别急。

1. 要先将域名的A记录（使用您自己的dns）或者ns解析到hostmonster（使用HOSTMONSTER的dns），一定要解析生效后，才能去设置addon。

2. 解析生效后，进入control panel（cp），点击 addon domain，设置您的域名即可。

官方说法：

Addon Domain Maintenance

没有做好解析就添加addon的错误提示：

• Addon Domains are domain names that point to subdirectories within your account.
• Addons will not be functional unless the domain name is registered with a valid registrar and configured to point to our DNS servers.
• The domain and subdirectory must be entered in all lowercase, no CAPS.
• When you create an addon domain, it will also create a subdomain. This is necessary for the domain to be properly added to your account. The url for the addon domain will still be www.addon.com, not subdomain.domain.com.

 

Error from park wrapper: Using nameservers with the following IPs: 211.152.8.187,210.77.146.128 Sorry, the domain is already pointed to an IP address that does not appear to use DNS servers associated with this server. Please transfer the domain to this servers nameservers or have your administrator add one of its nameservers to /etc/ips.remotedns and make the proper A entries on that remote nameserver.

xxx.cn has been setup. It can be accessed via the subdomain xxx.cn.xxx.com. FTP access has been granted with the username xxx.cn and the password xxx.cn.

xxx.cn could not be setup. The subdomain xxx.cn.xxx.com was not setup either.

做好解析后添加addon domains的成功提示：
