She felt that the whole world was against her. 她觉得人人都跟她作对。 All the world knows that pollution has become a serious problem. 全世界的人都知道污染已成了严重问题。 3. a world of 表示“许多”时，其后可接可数或不可数名词。如： a world of lies and secrecy 许多谎言和秘密 There’s a world of difference in the performance of the two cars. 这两辆汽车的性能有天壤之别。
