勤俭节约，从我做起
老师们、同学们：大家上午好
我今天发言的主题是勤俭节约，从我做起。这个话题我们并不陌生，也许有的同学会不屑一顾：又要讲大道理了，那么今天在我发言之前，我先请同学们算一组生活中的计算题：1×60等于多少？ 60×60等于多少？ 3600×24又等于多少？ 是86400，86400×365又等于多少？数字很大吧，应该是3153万6千。那么这组数据说明什么问题 ？我们假设一个没关紧水龙头一秒钟滴一滴水，一分钟60滴，一小时3600滴，一天86400滴，一年3153万6千滴水。同学们，我国大约有3.7亿个家庭，会有多少个水龙头？全国这么多学校会有多少个水龙头？每天又有多少个水龙头在滴水 ……那会浪费多少滴水 ？这将会是个天文数字，我们不算不知道，一算吓一跳，总以为这一点浪费算什么。
细心观察我们的校园里，浪费现象随处可见：关不紧的水龙头、白天亮着的电灯、整个或大半个被扔掉的馒头、饭桌上倒掉的饭菜等等。据学校总务处统计，我们学校仅一个月需负担的水电费就高达3万元，食堂每天倒掉的剩菜剩饭就有100多公斤。在我们中国，一件小事如果加上13亿人口就是大事，如果每人浪费一点资源，加起来就非同寻常，如果每人节约一点资源，加起来就是一笔巨大的财富。现在我们的生活水平总体提高了，同学们的家庭条件优越了，很多人就认为不需要勤俭节约了，但地球上的资源是有限的，我们浪费一点就少了一点，要知道，有些东西并不是金钱可以买到的。另外，从我国目前的国情来看，人口多，底子薄，贫富发展还不平衡，至今还有一部分人过着吃不饱、穿不暖的生活。如果十三亿人每人节约一粒粮，节省一分钱，节约一滴水，那将是一笔多么大的财富！若将这笔财富拿去支援贫困地区，我国又怎么会落后呢？
同学们，地球上的每一种资源都是我们人类共同的，它不是可以用金钱来衡量的，你就是再富也要养成节约的意识，因为节约是一种美德，节约是一种智慧，节约更应该成为一种习惯和风气。所以我们大家如果能够从我做起，从现在做起，从身边做起，牢固树立节约意识，从节约一度电、一滴水、一张纸、一粒粮入手，把节约落到实处，那么对于我们学校以及整个社会来说，那将是一笔可观的财富。
Be Industrious and Practise Economy

Today my topic is Be industrious and practise economy .We are not strange with this word. Some of you may think:You will have a big talk.
Before I start I want to do an artithmetic. What is 1 multiply 60?And what is 60 multiply 60?The result multiplies 24?It's8600.
what is 86400 multiply 365? The number is astonishing, It's 31,536,000per second. What's
implied in this amount?Let's imagine If there is a untied water tap drops a drop of water, so it will
drop 60 drops everyminuters, and 3,600 drops every hour.Dearstudents, there are about 3.7million
families.How many tops will be wasted? There are so many schools in the word.How much will you waste?
It's a big amount.Before we do the coulation We think this kind of waster is nothing.
Pay attention to our shcool.Everywhere sees wasting untide taps,the shined lights ,the whole or half steamed bun, the powerd rice and so on. According to the data from the charges for the water and electricl, we must pay as much as 3.0000yuan. In our country, a trifle added 1,300,000,000 became a matter. Everyone wasters a little, altogether is a lot. Vice versa.
Our living standard is up grade,So many people think there is no need to save. Dear students every kind of the sources is ours,It cannot be measured by money, No matter how rich you are, you shoud have the sence of savng resource It's a kind of wisdom. It should be threated as a kind of habits. If we can do it from ourselves ,from now on, hence the mind of saving by the way of saving a degree of electricity, a drop of water or a picer of ppaper.
Let’s carry out the thrifty into where it really matters. To the whole school and the socity,It's a
consrderable sum.
