Candidates taking the Sichuan Province public servant exam recently were baffled and embarrassed at one question that asked, "Are you satisfied with your sex life?" Many said they couldn't figure out the purpose of the very personal and embarrassing question and wondered why they had to answer it.
"What is the relationship between my sex life and the public security job position that I applied for?" asked Wang Li, an exam taker from Chengdu, Sichuan Province.
Others said they had to answer the question very carefully because they feared it was connected with basic information they had submitted before. "If I submitted the information saying I was not married and then answered that I was satisfied with my sex life, will the judges erase my name from the job list because I have had premarital sex?" asked one puzzled candidate.
