强调句练习：20个

其实强调句和定语从句非常相近，强调句主要看它的结构形式，；而定语从句则在从句中做成分,或者做主语，或者做宾语，或者状语。

eg. 正常句子： I met an old friend in the street on that Sunday.

强调句可以强调 1）主语   2）宾语   3）地点、时间、其他状语

1) It was I who met an old friend in the street on that Sunday.

2)It was an old friend that I met in the street on that Sunday.

3) It was  in the street that I met an old friend on that Sunday.

4) It was  on that Sunday that I met an old friend in the street.

 *强调主语时，指的是人时，不用that,而用who。其他全用that.

**It is/was ...that ... 去掉时，原来的句子能回去。

eg. It was eight o'clock  when we arrived.=we arrived at 8.

   It was at eight  that we arrived.

这两个句子其实是完全不一样的。

前者是定语从句；后者则是强调句。把It was...that去掉 能不能回去是关键。

下列是典型的强调句：

It was for the reason that....
