It is time for sth.和It is time (for sb.)to do sth.

 

   It is time for sth. 是该干某事的时候了。for是介词，其后接名词。如： 

   1. It is time for class. 到上课的时候了。

   2. It is time for lunch. 到吃午饭的时候了。

　　
   It is time(for sb. )to do sth. 是该(某人)干某事的时候了。to是不定式符号，后接动词原形。如：

    1. It is time to go to bed. 是该睡觉的时候了。

　  2. It is time for her to answer the question. 是该她回答问题的时候了。
