这是六世达赖仓央嘉措为其爱上的一个女子写的情诗之一，他的百首情诗，均是经典。这是其中最有韵味的之一。
六世达赖仓央嘉措生于康熙二十二年(1683年)，十四岁时剃度入布达拉宫为黄教领袖，后被西藏政教斗争殃及，遭清廷废黜，解送北上，途经青海今纳木措湖时于夜色中遁去，不知所终，时年24岁。仓央嘉措在历史的天空如惊鸿一瞥，但他用生命写下的传奇和诗歌却在世代流传。
