          Dear Chen Lin,

                I will hold a dinner party at my house on August 18 to celebrate our fifth wedding anniversary.
 As you are a close friend of ours, we would very much like you and your wife to come over to the
 celebration and share our joy.

 

               The party will start at seven o’clock in the evening, with the showing of the video pictures we took in
 the past five years, recording the happiness between husband and me after marriage. This will be followed
 by a dinner party. After that we will have a small concert, at which our guests will present their special
 musical shows.

 

                If you do not have anything important, please come over early that day. We look forward to the
  pleasure of your company.
