Step 1: On the server on which you want to install the RD Licensing role service, open Server Manager. To open Server Manager, click Start, Administrative Tools, and then click Server Manager. On the Select Server Roles page, select the Remote Desktop Services check box, and then click Next ![]() Step 2: On the Select Role Services page, select the Remote Desktop Licensing check box, and then click Next ![]() Step 3: On the Configure Discovery Scope for RD Licensing page, you can specify a discovery scope for the license server. In our example, we choose This domain ![]() Step 4: Click Install button to continue ![]() Step 5: Click Close button to continue ![]() Step 6: to Activate the License server, we need to open the RD Licensing Manager console.
