It announced that the 100th anniversary would be celebrated in style and with that in mind, the hotel shall go through a process of thoughtful refurbishment. The hotel’ signature banana leaf will be left untouched and so shall the wall paper, green and white stripes. The pink exterior would be left untouched too. However, everything else would be upgraded and made to look different and more in sync with times. Their Anniversary package is one of the best I have heard so far.based estimates the Park Hyatt will have 60% corporate customers whereas meeting and incentive customers and leisure customers will make up 10% and 30% respectively. The new hotel is projected to achieve 70% occupancy in its second year of operation. Hyatt Hotels are already in negotiation for the second Park Hyatt in Thailand at Phuket.9 February 2012 is important for two reasons.
