一直没有怎么碰过EM，最近想偷懒，所以折腾一下，这一折腾不要紧，搞清楚几个问题： 1. oracle11g的asm放到 grid infrasturcture里边去了，所以oracle11g要做asm，请先安装这个。 2. oracle10g和11g的em都是单独release的 grid control。安装grid control之前还需要安装oracle weblogic server。都有下载。 3.似乎standby的创建都是放在了grid control里的。 4. grid control和database control是两码事，前者管理很多database，后者只是自己而已。 5.在dbca创建数据库的时候，有个选项说用gird control还是datbase control，如果没有grid control，别瞎选。 6.goldengate有下载了。 该死的oracle11g grid control only support weblogic 10.3.2, don't support 10.3.3. or 10.3.1.否则在指定Middleware的时候会总是说不对。 ORACLE_MIDDLEWARE_HOME_LOCATION: Invalid Middleware Home location. Specify a valid location that was created while installing a certified version of Oracle Weblogic Server 一定要注意阅读metalink的原文，64bit的linux一定要安装generic的版本，900多MB，慢慢下载吧。否则oracle总是说你的不对。

Information in this document applies to any platform.
PurposeGrid Control 11.1.0.1.0 is different from prior versions (10.1 and 10.2) in requiring existing installations of several support components to
support installation of the web application:
1) WebLogic Server 10.3.2
2) jdk for 64bit platforms as determined by the WebLogic Server:
Linux x86_64
Solaris (SPARC 64bit)
HP-UX (PA-RISC)
HP-UX (Itaniium)
IBM AIX
3) Oracle Database
Herein is discussed the impact of version choices with respect to these supporting components.
Scope and ApplicationGrid Control 11.1.0.1.0 installation merely installs and deploys a web application. Supporting components such as WebLogic Server (and its prerequisite jdk for 64bit platforms) and the Oracle Database must be installed beforehand and should be ready to receive the Grid Control 11.1.0.1.0 product.
This discussion of component product versions touches on only some of the Grid Control 11.1.0.1.0 prerequisites. For a complete description of prerequisites, see the following documents:

Grid Control 11g: Required External Components and Versions for Grid Control 11.1.0.1.0The following requirements and qualifications apply to Grid Control 11.1.0.1.0:
1. WebLogic Server
a) The only version of the WebLogic Server that can be used to deploy Grid Control is 10.3.2.
10.3.1 and 10.3.3 ARE NOT supported versions.
10.3.2 IS the ONLY supported version.
b) The WebLogic Server should be installed from the Oracle WebLogic Server 11gR1 (10.3.2) - Package Installer source from the Oracle Technology Network web site.
c) Note that 32bit Linux (x86) and Windows platforms are provided with a WLS installer that has a bundled jdk associated, and, hence, there is a different installer available for each supported 32bit platform.
d) Note that 64bit platforms must use the Generic WLS installer (wls1032_generic.jar). In this case, the WLS download is the same for all 64bit platforms, but each platform must have a jdk installed appropriate for that platform (see section 2).
e) The WebLogic Server associated with Oracle products such as SOA Suite or Identity Management is not appropriate for use in deploying Grid Control.
f) Navigate the WLS Download Site:
1) Access the Oracle Technnology Network web site:

Select Downloads.
2) Select "Oracle Fusion Middleware 11g Release 1" under the Software Downloads/Middleware heading.
3) Select "See All" under Oracle Fusion Middleware 11g Software Downloads/For Deployment:Fusion Middleware 11g Rel 1 (11.1.1.x) Software Downloads. Note that this is the Deployment section and not the Development section. Using the source from the Development section can cause difficulty deep into the Grid Control installation.
4) On the Oracle Fusion Middleware 11gR1 Software Downloads page, under Runtime Software, select "WebLogic Server (10.3.2)/All available platforms".
5) On the Oracle WebLogic Server Downloads page, accept the license agreement by activating the radio button, then scroll down to Oracle WebLogic Server 10.3.2 and activate the expansion cross next to "See all files".
6) Access the desired WLS install source in the "Oracle WebLogic Server 11gR1 (10.3.2) - Package Installer" row by selecting the appropriate "File 1" link under the platform of interest. Note that this is the package installer and not the net installer.

g) Using the incorrect WLS (i.e., 10.3.1 or 10.3.3) will result in a failed installation or upgrade of Grid Control, where the WLS must be replaced with the proper version before proceeding.
2. jdk (for 64bit Platforms)
This discussion does NOT apply to 32bit platforms.
The user must install an appropriate jdk to support the WebLogic Server and Grid Control 11.1.0.1.0 installations on 64bit platforms, since the required jdk is not bundles with the installer as it is with the 32bit platforms.
a) jdk 1.6.0 update 18 is recommended for Linux x86_64 as the latest effective jdk version available.
b) jdk 1.6.0 updates 19 and higher do not allow subsequent patching with required WLS patch WDJ7, so these versions are not effective and must be avoided. They may be used when a cacerts file that allows Smartupdate can be appropriately substituted for the native one.
c) Linux and Solaris version 1.6.0 update 18 jdk's are available from the Oracle/Sun java support archive site:

d) HP-UX (Itanium) and HP-UX (PA_RISC) require the HP-UX 11i Java JDK 6.0 from HP.
6.0.04 has been shown to be effective in supporting Grid Control 11.1.0.1.0, so if 6.0.05 or higher demonstrate errors in subsequent WLS or GC installations, revert to 6.0.04. Note that HP supports its Java 6.0.04 on these platforms, common with Grid Control:

e) IBM AIX requires a 1.6.0 jdk from IBM.
Java6 SR7, the equivalent of 1.6.0_17, build 2 from Sun/Oracle, is suitable for installation on AIX platforms. If the version being used is showing troublesome WLS and/or Grid Control 11.1.0.1.0 installation, try reverting to Java 6 SR7. Note that IBM's Java 6 SR7 is supported on these minimum platform versions, common with Grid Control:

3. Database
A database for repository use must exist at the time of Grid Control 11.1.0.1.0 installation. The option to "Install Grid Control with a new database" is no longer offered.
a) The database must be one of these versions:
10.2.0.4.0
11.1.0.7.0
11.2.0.1.0
Premium Support for 10.2 databases is scheduled to stop in July, 2010, so an 11g database may be the best option to avoid the downtime of a near-term repository database upgrade.
b) Partitioning and fine grained access control are required active features, so the database must be an Enterprise Edition type.
c) Simply installing an Enterprise Edition database with default initialization parameters is not sufficient for use as a Grid Control repository store. The required initialization parameter values must be altered to those described in this reference prior to Grid Control 11.1.0.1.0 installation:

d) Upgrading Grid Control from 10.2.0.5 to 11.1.0.1 will not upgrade the repository database (only the repository objects). For this reason, the 10.2.0.5 repository database must be 10.2.0.4 or 11.1.0.7 to be compatible with the new Grid Control 11.1.0.1.0.
