On May 15, a reporter of People’s Daily Online came to Daba Village, a remote hamlet in China’s Guizhou province. The clean village square, neat two-floor cottages and lovely folk paintings in the village are very impressive.
One can hardly imagine that this village was one of the poorest ones in this area five years ago. Thanks to the help of Chinese Peasants and Workers Democratic Party, one of the eight political parties other than the Communist Party of China, the local people witnessed a tremendous change occurring in this small village.
