一、让孩子阅读下面的故事。
Hot Air Balloons
How did people first fly in the air? Did they use an airplane? Nope. They used a hot air balloon! People first flew in a balloon in 1783. Two men rode in the balloon. They started in Paris. The balloon stayed in the air for 25 minutes. It got as far as 100 meters above the ground.
Many people love to ride in hot air balloons. Riding in a balloon can be fun and calming. People can see for miles and miles. Houses look like toys because they are so tiny. People do not feel wind when they are riding. The balloon moves with the wind. People feel wind only if the balloon goes up or down.
People today have fun with hot air balloons. Some even have races with balloons. Their balloons can come in many colors. Balloons can have different shapes too. Some look like hot dogs. Other balloons look like rocket ships. What shape balloon would you like?
Balloons that carry people have a gas bag and a basket. The bag is what most people call the balloon. People ride in the basket. What lifts the balloon? A burner sits under the gas bag. It warms the air in the bag. Warm air is lighter than cold air. So, the warm air in the bag makes the balloon rise!
二、启发孩子回答问题。这篇故事中，有很多因果联系。
① 热气球水平飞行的时候，乘客感觉不到风的吹拂，这是为什么？从故事找出原因，并划上红色荧光笔。
② 热气球为什么能升到上空？从故事里找出原因，并划上绿色荧光笔。
三、对对答案
孩子应该像下面这样，划出两种颜色的荧光笔。
