Start a new document that is 300 x 300 in size, and fill the background with the following gradient:

The colors used are: #84AAD9 and #A4BFEA

1.新建文件，大小为300*300像素，使用如下渐变色填充背景。颜色分别为：#84AAD9 ， #A4BFEA





         Step 2.)

Next create a new layer, and make a a selection like pictured bellow:

2.新建层，创建如下选区：



and fill this selection with #FFFFFF (white)

使用白色填充选区。



next set the opacity of this layer down to 31 percent, go up to "filter->blur->Gaussian Blur" with a setting of 2 pixels

将白色层的透明度降低为31%，点击滤镜-模糊-高斯模糊，半径设置为2像素。

         Step 3.)

Create a new layer, get out the elliptical marquee tool hold down the SHIFT key (to make a perfect circle) and make a selection like this in the center of the canvas:

3.新建层，按下shift键选择椭圆工具，绘制一个完美的圆形~将椭圆选取放到图中如下位置：



Fill this selection with #5B87CE DO NO DESELECT

使用#5B87CE填充圆形选区。

         Step 4.)

Create a new layer. Set your foreground color to white (#FFFFFF) Get out your brush, with these settings:

4.新建层，前景色设置为白色（#FFFFFF），选择画刷工具，设置如下：



now color in the bottom portion of the selection like so:

如下进行涂抹：



It doesn't have to be perfect, just similar to what l've got.

Now go to "filter->blur->motion blur", and apply these settings:

不需要和我画得完全一样，近似即可~

下面点击滤镜-模糊-动感模糊，设置如下：



Here's what you should end up with:

现在我们应该得到如下结果：



Drop the opacity of this layer down to 85 percent. Press 'V' on your keyboard (to get out the move tool) and press the up arrow on your keyboard 4 times. This will move the blur up slightly

将透明度更改为85%，按下V键，激活移动工具，点击向上箭头4次，对白色区域的位置进行微调~

Next go to "filter->blur->Gaussian blur" with a setting of 5:

点击滤镜-模糊-高斯模糊，设置为5像素。



Here's what you should have now:

         Step 5.)

Next hold down the CTRL key and click on the lay with the blur circle in it:

5.按下ctrl键选中下面两层：



This will make a selection of the circle again for us.

goto select->modify->contract with a setting of 7 pixels

点击选择-修改-收缩-7像素，得到如下选区：





Create a new layer on top of everything, and make a white (#FFFFFF) to transparent gradient fill on the circle like so:

新建层放置在最上方，使用白色到透明的渐变进行填充，如下：

         Step 6.)

Now make a selection like so with the elliptical marquee tool. This is done basically by making a HUGE oval selection that overlaps the entire canvas.

6.如下使用椭圆工具创建如下选区~画个大大的椭圆就可以：





         Step 7.)

Now go to "select->inverse" to invert the selection, and tap DELETE on your keyboard.

Next go to "filter->blur->Gaussian Blur" with a setting of: 1.5

7.点击选择-反选，将选区反转，按下delete键。

点击滤镜-模糊-高斯模糊，半径为1.5像素。



Drop the opacity of this layer down to 88 percent, this is what l've got so far:

层透明度设置为88%。如下：





         Step 8.)

Now double click on the layer with the blue circle:

8.双击蓝色圈圈所在的层。



and apply these blending options, the color used is #08397E:

Drop Shadow:

打开层样式窗口，如下配置：

阴影：





         Step 9.)

Now the only thing left to do is to add your icon onto the orb. You can put letters, symbols or whatever. Here l put a triangle to symbolize a 'play' button. I also resized the image down to 50x50 for use as an icon:
