If you're a MOTOACTV owner who wants to get the most from its Bluetooth capabilities, here are detailed pairing instructions for using Bluetooth, MOTOACTV and a Motorola Android phone together. Connect Motorola Android phone to Bluetooth headset 1. Pair Bluetooth Stereo headset with Motorola Android phone. 2. From Motorola Android phone Bluetooth settings, Press & hold the line item that shows Bluetooth headset connected 3. Go into options and disable "Media" profile connection. 4. Disconnect connection btw Bluetooth headset & Motorola Android phone either by the "Disconnect" option or turning off Bluetooth.
Connect MOTOACTV to Bluetooth headset 5. Make Bluetooth headset discoverable by turning off and on 6. From MOTOACTV, settings, wireless, add Bluetooth headset 7. Scan and connect with Bluetooth Stereo headset
Both connections from headset to Motorola Android phone & MOTOACTV 8. Turn on Bluetooth on Motorola Android phone and connect with Bluetooth headset 9. Play music from MOTOACTV to stream into Bluetooth headset 10. Incoming call to Motorola Android phone should be routed to Bluetooth headset
To connect Motorola Android phone to MOTOACTV for notifications 11. Downlaod MOTOACTV app onto your Motorola Android phone 12. On MOTOACTV go to settings, general, Smart Phone Setup, Next. This makes MOTOACTV discoverable 13. On Motorola Android phone, launch MOTOACTV app, scan for MOTOACTV and accept pair request on both devices. 14. Now you should be able to listen to music on your Bluetooth headset from MOTOACTV; see incoming call notification on Motorola Android phone & MOTOACTV; answer call from Motorola Android phone or Bluetooth headset; then on ending call resume listening to music |
