好知识与坏知识

知识有好坏吗？有的。

什么样的知识是好的？什么样的知识是坏的？这就很难定义了。

总体说，能够对自己的生活和思想产生积极或有益影响的，应该算是好知识。对自己的生活和思想产生消极或有害影响的，可以认为是坏知识。

这样看来，理性思维或者批评性思维的培养和训练在人的生活中是多么得重要。妄自菲薄、狂妄自大实际是无知，但人云亦云、毫无主见，也是一种悲哀。

 

去过苏格兰的阿伯丁多次，几乎每次都去看几眼位于新国王学院 (New King's  College) 前的一尊雕塑。这尊雕塑展示的是一位年轻人斜躺在地上（或者是知识的海洋里），两只手里分别拿着分开的象征智慧的一个苹果的两半。雕塑者的解释是：一边是好知识，一边是坏知识。

 

雕塑的说明是：这尊雕塑挑战这样一个深入人心的理念：知识是通过行动来获得的。率真和开放的思维，慎密的思索，在获得知识上具有重要的地位。最重要的是：生命的目的不是为了改变世界，而是为了了解世界。

 

现实是，很少有人去认真区分知识的优劣，也很少有人去认真思考每一个知识。有的人很固执，不接受任何知识，有的人很开放，可以接受任何知识。两者都不可取，两种方式对个人发展都有害，对社会发展更有害。

 

很多人以为凭自己的知识可以改变世界，但在还没有清楚认识和了解这个世界之前，就夭折了。要改变世界，先要了解这个世界。我们的一生基本是在尝试认识和了解这个世界。
