| Today is the first day of the rest of my life;

| No longer a child, I can make my own way.

| I can choose what to do with my life every day.
| 选择每天要做的事情。
|
| I'm dependent on God though for the air that I breathe,
| 我依赖着上帝，因为我每天需要呼吸空气，
|
| for the warmth of the sun, for the health that I need,
| 需要阳光的温暖，需要健康的身体，
|
| for protection from harm as I walk down the street,
| 走在大街上的时候，需要远离伤害，
|
| for providing strong faith so I won't meet defeat.
| 需要坚强的信念，来支柱我不会遭遇失败和打击。
|
|
|
|
| He reminds me that all that I have comes from Him
| 他提醒我说我所拥有的都是他给予我的
|
| and He loved me enough to die for my sin.
| 他爱我爱得到死，因为我的罪恶。
|
| He gives me a choice, now I must decide
| 他给我一个选择，而我现在必须做出选择……
|
| as I graduate, will I walk by His side?
| 毕业后，我是否还会站在他的一边？
|
|

| Yes, I'll walk the straight path from now to the end,
| 会的，我一生都会把这条“笔直”的道路走下去的，
|
| trusting completely my Savior, my Friend.
| 我完全相信我的救世主基督，我的朋友。
|
| Thanking Him, praising Him, for all that He's done;
| 我要感谢他，歌颂他，因为他做了那么多的事情；
|
| I'm looking ahead
| 我向前望去……
|
| my future's begun!
| 我的未来开始启航了！
