喜欢这首名唤《100年》的歌曲，虽不是很新的歌，每次听到都禁不住跟着节拍吟唱。
这首歌是由美国歌手 John Ondrasik自编自创，并于2003年11月作为单曲发行的，第二年被收集到他最卖座的单辑《万物之战》中。
生于音乐世家的约翰 Ondrasik 自小接受了良好的音乐熏陶。少年时代边玩吉它，边尝试歌曲的创作。毕业于UCLA并拥有应用科学和数学双学位的他，在大学的业余时间里继续他的音乐追求，因为平时酷爱体育运动，约翰在大学期间便为自己起了《Five for Fighting》作为艺名。最初我以为Five For Fighting是一个乐队的名字，实际上它只有一个成员，那就是John Ondrasik自己。而这个艺名的由来，其灵感来自于曲棍球比赛中的一项规则：特指队员犯规后被裁判罚下场，需等待5分钟才能重新上场。这情形在冰球比赛时经常可以见到；赛场上分秒必争，双方斗智斗勇，横冲直撞，禁区內的犯規球员乖乖坐在冷板凳上束手无策，短短5分钟的惩罚好似煎熬了半个世纪那么漫长。
