THANKS to her oversize body, a woman in rural Shandong Province got stuck in a well in her attempted suicide, local media reported.
The woman in Jiehe Town jumped into the well on Sunday morning for fear of being scolded by her husband because she didn't listen to him and removed greenhouse film too early, causing their four mu (2,700 square meters) of potatoes to perish in cold weather.
Luckily, she got stuck about three meters down the well and her groans alerted other villagers who immediately called the police. She was later pulled up by a rope and only suffered scratches, yesterday's Qilu Evening News reported.
The woman said she regretted for having done such a silly thing.
