Plot:
Parker,acollegeprofessor,encounteredanabandoneddog.
Itslonelyfiguresparkedhismercy.Hiswifestronglyopposedat
first,anddoeseverythingpossibletopackitoff.Butthenshesaw
thatherhusbandanddaughterlovedthedogverymuchand
finallydecidedtoadmitthedogintothefamily.Parkercalledit"
Hachi."
HachiaccompaniedtheParkerentirefamilytogrowtogether,
thenitgrewgraduallyfromthepuppyintothecolossus.Parker
whowasgentleevenlayingroundandpickedtheballwiththe
mouthtosetanexampleforHachi,butitisactuallyunableto
teachHachitodoit.Duringleisuretime,Parkeralsomadethe
massageforHachi.
Everyday,HachiaccompaniedParkertoworkontimeandat5:00in
theeveningappearedatthestationentrancetowaitParkerback.That
wasthetimeonlyforthem!Inthetown,intheopinionsofthestation
master,thehot-dogvendorandthestoreproprietress,thiswasthe
picturewhichalreadybecameaccustomedto:ThatParkercomesout

Hachiwaitedtheprofessorat5:00pmeveryday,waited…waited......the
nextday,thethirdday......

thatweshouldneverforgettheoneweonceloved.
