There is a close association between interest and learning. Strong interest can lead to a strong desire to learn some subjects well. The more interested you are, the more active and hardworking you will be, and the more satisfactory your results will be.

学习和兴趣密切相关。浓厚的兴趣能够增强人们学好某些课程的愿望。你的兴趣越浓，你就会越积极努力地学习，你的学习成绩也就越令人满意。

The same is true of English learning. It is very important to develop an interest in English language. No matter how well the teachers instruct in class or how carefully the materials are chosen, if you don’t develop any interest in it, you may complain, as some students do, that English learning is too difficult or too boring. As a result, you can not learn it well.

学习英语也是一样。培养对英语的兴趣是十分重要的。无论教师讲课有多么精彩，无论如何细心选材，如果你不培养对英语的兴趣，你就会像某些学生那样，抱怨英语太难、太乏味。结果，你就学不好英语。

Therefore, you should cultivate interest in English properly. As the saying goes, “Interest is the best teacher”. When you overcome various difficulties and master it, your interest will be stronger, and vice versa. Then you may say English is challenging; you will be an active and efficient learner rather than a dejected complainer and loser.

因此，你应该正确培养自己对学习英语的兴趣。常言道，兴趣是最好的老师。当你克服各种各样的困难而掌握了这种语言的时候，你的兴趣会倍增，反之亦然。然后你就会说，学习英语是具有挑战性的，你就会成为一个积极的、有效的英语学习者，而不是一个灰心丧气的抱怨者和失败者。
