The Difference Between Jaw Crusher and Impact Crusher

Generally speaking,jaw crusher and impact crusher are both widely used in the industries of ore crushing, railway, highway, energy, cement, chemicals, construction and so on,but there are some difference between them.

1、Jaw crusher is generally used for primary crushing, impact crusher is widely used for secondary crushing;
2、The working principle of Jaw crusher and impact crusher is different;
3、The products of impact crusher with cubic shape, high compresion resistance; the products of Jaw crusher can't be used as construction materials derectly, because this kind of material with needle shape;
4、The rotation speed of Jaw crusher is lower, which is only 100-200 r/min, impact crusher is higher;
5、Jaw crusher can crush material which has higher hardness, when impact crusher crush superhard material, wchich will be in large damage;                                                  6、Jaw crusher is generally crush hard material, so the quality of spare parts is higher, impact crusher is not. For example,The thickness of the steel plate of Jaw crusher are 50mm, 80mm, 100mm; impact crusher is about 20mm；
7、Jaw crusher needs a plastic machine in production line, impact crusher can be used directly.
