Especially if you have a strong ego - as there are going to be some battles of wills that will transpire over the next few months (even one big one with a powerful group). You are taking back your power in your personal life and if someone has been pulling your change or imposing their will upon you, this is the week when you say “that’s it” and decide to take concerted action. Aries are brave and won’t be intimidated, and although deep down you may still be a bit wobbly, that won’t stop you going for the jugular ....or some other part of the anatomy (if it's a relationship you that you really want…) Some Aries will have a court challenge, others a divorce, or a business wrangle…but not all Rams of course. But all Rams will need to exhibit a lot more PATIENCE (for the next eight months starting this weekend) and that’s a tall order for you because you are an immediate gratification sign. However this long lasting energy does give you the chance to do just that - to win people over - if you are willingly work cooperatively on your relationships and on any issues that you encounter between yourself and another. You are not an island and you never know when you need help and support... TAURUS "Hi ho, hi ho" it’s off to work we go and yes from this weekend onwards (and all the way until August 2014) you are turning into a Workhorse. That doesn’t seem fair - "isn’t there some kind of festive season coming up?" you may well ask - so why are the job pressures and demands on your time increasing rather than lightening up? Well perhaps you have a job that is seasonal - or secular - and this is a busy time for you, but in fact it’s going to get a whole lot busier for the next eight months. This week you will continue to deal with some issues of shared money, or property or wills and inheritances but you are actually gaining from your efforts in this regard. With Pluto in your 9th house any overseas transactions, or business with foreign companies along with legal dealings will start to bear fruit (but you may still be in the process of planting the seeds). If you are in business with someone, then the profits will start to show and you will see rewards for your efforts. This week signals the beginning of a new chapter in your life that lies ahead and this will become more and more apparent as 2014 approaches. There is a new and meaningful purpose to your world now, and if you don’t get a signal of this before the week is out, you soon will! GEMINI Lucky you! You’ve been like Sisyphus pushing that boulder up the hill, or Atlas carrying the world on your back…but not anymore! Come this weekend, you can welcome in a whole new energy that is around for 8 MONTHS- and this is one that is right up your alley. It’s about fostering self-expression and having fun and so even if you are literally done in from all the shenanigans of recent times, make an effort to get out there and enjoy. There is a gamut of good things on offer for you - love affairs, travels, more involvement in the arts (as a patron or simply going to the ballet, theater, gallery openings et al) and you will be spending money like a drunken sailor and spreading around the happiness. That’s when you are not horizontal because did I mention you’ll be having a LOT of sex, so do try and get some shut eye at some stage…. But irrespective of whether you are attached or single your love life will improve because you are so alluring and cute and everyone wants to make you happy!. If you are older and have children, young or out of the nest, even if they have driven you to distraction by their antics, this is the time you invite them back to the nipple (metaphorically speaking!). You are in forgive and forget mode as you begin to realize how much someone really does mean to you after all ...and if you want it, the removal of a barrier is possible this week. Maybe there won't be marriage... maybe there won't be sex... but, by God, there'll be dancing. CANCER You love to nest and to cook and take care of your loved ones (or whoever you deem to be “family” - even if it’s just your cat - so this next few weeks and indeed the next (almost) year will be focused on just this area, your home. You can also anticipate lots of activity here and this may be visits from loved ones and friends and family gatherings or renovations or some other kind of domestic reorganization – or the birth of a child. It would be fair to say that as a Cancer, the concept of home and family is your raison d’etre so you are going to welcome the Mars transit of your home. 2013 has been a tough year for the Crabs and yet in spite of any sorrow or ongoing grievances you are actually in quite a good space. Whatever you particular source of stress – and there are so many manifestations – you’ll actually be pleasantly surprised to find that you are actually having an OK time. Bear this in mind when Mars kicks in on the weekend because with this energy come some degree of emotional unease (think cranky and defensive and a bit lost). But the whole purpose of the mars energy (the warrior planet) is to indentify what is the source of these feelings of internal discomfort and then do something constructive about it …if you can. It's not what happens to you, but how you react to it that matters but being a water sign, you become very emotional when angry and very angry when your security is threatened. LEO This should be a great week for you as you are in party spirit and being a Leo most likely quite aggressive in your “Pursuit of Happyness” (in whatever form that is for you). One word of caution, watch the spending as you will be doing everything to excess and you might go beyond what is sensible in your spending and merriment and “spreading the joy” shouldn’t send you broke! There’s little doubt that you are “silver tongued” and are communicating powerfully (and affectively) and this is a bit of a turnaround from somewhat of a quiet and retiring passage. You’ve been shielding yourself from hurt (emotional or financial) but your innate willing to “take a chance” on life is baaak. You will be throwing yourself back into the mix, and socializing like mad (thanks to your Sun in the house of fun) but there is also a long 8-month process that launches this weekend. Don’t panic if your social diary is not full this week because this is “rolling out” for nearly a year, but you will be quite the socialite and this will divert your attention away from some of those pesky issues that you’ve been grappling with (especially to do with your family and domestic - and romantic - scene). You are a new star with tremendous and universal appeal. Your emotional life has been an area of disappointment or uncertainty and so you’ve tended to withdraw from the whole shebang. Now you are taking back the wheel of your life and prepared to not only put your big toe back into romantic waters, but dive head first into the deep end of the pool. This will be very rewarding in this regard and something that you discover (or is said to you) will make your heart sing. Don’t give up on someone or something, dig deeper and you will find gold and what seemed like a bitter experience was actually a blessing in disguise (and this may relate to a property OR an emotional matter). You have the Cosmic green light to flirt up a storm, and a risk must be taken because the greatest hazard in life is to risk nothing. To love is to risk not being loved in return…to hope is to risk pain…to try is to risk failure.. VIRGO Wow you are like your zodiac sibling, Leo, spending up a storm – on your family and on your social life and entertainment – but perhaps at the same trying to prove yourself to others by your generosity or displays of wealth. Watch out as your spending may go way overboard but this may be a kind of knee jerk reaction; you are “kicking back” from all the dross that you’ve had to contend with over the past few months. The stuff that no-one knows about because you’ve had to keep it under wraps or even grapple with some kind of personal or moral dilemma. Still lessons are there for a purpose so even if they are hard, they are beneficial. But you do need a release and you also need to make a conscious effort to keep your chin up and that may mean precluding certain people from your world. Of course they are not going to understand this and possibly feel rejected, unappreciated and undeserving of your treatment of them. There is something still in your world that has a great big question mark over it, and that is still distracting you, mainly because you don’t know the complete picture. You could be being “creative” with the truth (see that moral dilemma above) or someone else is pulling the wool over your eyes…on the premise that this is for your own good. You are a logical, clever and rational sign, and very resolute in your dealings, but in this situation you can’t be all things to all people. Whilst your financial luck strong, you do need to make a choice and you do need to tell the truth. Mars arrives on the weekend in your money house and this could indicate a struggle over ownership and if you try and control a situation there is likely to be reprisals (especially after Uranus goes direct in a fortnight). Every action has consequences - especially over issues such as joint finances and there could be some unexpected developments concerning material resources that you hold in common with another person. A windfall or reversal but no-one escapes the consequences of their choices in life. LIBRA On the weekend Mars moves into your sign for a while EIGHT MONTHS and not the usual six weeks, so this is BIG for you! There is evidently a big message for you from the Cosmos and clearly this is about standing up for yourself! You are going to morph into one strong and feisty Libra, but don’t worry, you are the sign of the diplomat so people won’t be too offended by the “edge” to your personality. In fact they will admire and respond to it! Plus you have the Sun warming up your communications sector for another few weeks bringing a lighter touch to your social intercourse. But the main thrust of this energy is for you to reclaim something that was taken away from you in the past. A sense of self worth, joy, money, a business…whatever it is, this is your window to go and get it back! Someone in your life (or maybe even a group, community or friends) who is important to you has acted badly or is confused about their direction, or about you. You might not have been as equipped to deal with this previously perhaps because of feelings of insecurity but now you have the “fighter spirit” of Mars to help you sort this out once and for all. This is the time to set new limits, and reject what you find unacceptable. Especially in your emotional life the Cosmos will reward bravery (fortune favors the brave..). You are not a sign know for being able to “confront” or make the hard calls until you absolutely have to, but now you won’t need to! If you have been trying to launch a business this is your (rather lengthy) window to get it off the ground. The big picture may still look good, or a situation relatively rosy but as time goes on, it either doesn’t deliver or you may find there are too many “sink holes”. But with Uranus in your house of relationships and Mars in your house of Self, you will gain more awareness of any potholes but if you are maintaining the status quo against all evidence to the contrary, or trying to push a plan through that has warning signs, then this will be a challenging passage for you. By the same token don’t let anyone push you into anything you are not certain about. SCORPIO On the weekend Mars enters your house of self undoing, enemies and the subconscious for a very long stay, eight months and unfortunately some Scorpios will encounter some kind of opposition and probably of the unknown kind, such as a hidden enemy. Even if that doesn’t happen this is a can be a tricky and treacherous journey…..OR…quite wonderful as this is also the Guardian Angel house but not in obvious or straightforward ways. Therefore you are going to have to work a lot harder to make any progress and you are going to have to keep sane and not be riddled with self doubts and uncertainty in the process. If fact you are more likely to go backwards or encounter this opposition if you do nothing. But there is something that is going to happen behind closed doors or kept under wraps and this may be a business deal you want to keep private, a lifestyle or a secret love affair. At some point you will be engaged in hidden activities or else a secret can come to light and be an “undoing” probably your self undoing so when it comes to any kind of maneuvers, be very careful how you tread. Some faulty accounting may become evident, especially in a large business transaction or it may be unclear or some business communication is confusing or even daunting. It may be that you feel you are biting off more than you can chew or there is an unforeseen hiccup that you have to deal with and it’s out of the blue and somewhat overwhelming. No matter what insurmountable or challenging business situation you face this week (and there will be more of documentation, tenders and legal contracts to deal with), know that luck is on your side and the Cosmos is offering you a breakthrough…if you are prepared to take it. You are in a very fecund and dynamic business chapter of your life, so don't be derailed by indecision, as you will regret this lost opportunity in the future. In fact is could be a week when you burst through a career or financial ceiling or even penetrate the coldest heart. It’s all about stating your intentions and declaring your entitlements but this is a week of great development whether that is obvious or not. The progress could be emotional or psychological (and thus hidden) but it irrespective, whatever occurs this week will still make an enormous transformation to your world. SAGITTARIUS The door of your cage is open and you are free! You’ve experienced a seemingly never ending winter (irrespective of where you live in the world), two months of Mercury in your house of the hidden, that played with your head and made you feel more withdrawn. Sure you had to deal with private worries that may have affected your partner (that affects you) or you directly and it was probably not a situation you wanted to share or make public. Some situation that you want to keep tight lipped about has dragged down and made you feel more inclined to privacy and being more guarded as opposed to being open and approachable.. But whether or not the situation has changed or your mindset, as the forecast starts, you are lightening up and becoming more expansive and meeting others halfway or even going all the way. For one reason or another you felt more inclined or impelled to keep quiet or keep your counsel but now it’s feels safe again to be your authentic and expressive self. From now until early January 2014, the world is opening up again for you, having had the CLOSED sign up for a while. Travel is almost a certainty, if not this week, then very soon (and you are “preparing” this week). Your life force, innate optimism and confidence have returned with a vengeance (and will remain so for more than half of the upcoming year) and even if you are in a difficult or uncomfortable situation you are perfectly entitled to still enjoy life (even if you still remain unsure about outcomes or where a particular situation is headed). You can expect the worst and then be pleasantly surprised or turn a blind eye and a hope for the best and whilst there is an indication of everything turning out just fine, there is still the possibility of forgetting your principles and goals. Hopefully you now fully understand that getting “there” means that you will be part of a twosome or a group (but not a solo act) and remain scrupulous in all your dealings – especially in property or home based decisions or in any legal dealings. It’s going to be a hectic weekend (which is just a precursor for what is ahead in 2014 when you are going to be very busy) so don’t forget to take time to recharge your batteries. You still worry about hidden agendas and continue to hold off until the coast is clear and if you do commit you will need to rescind or change an earlier explanation. Don’t take any unnecessary risk and be very clear about your long term goals and you’ll be fine. CAPRICORN This is a week when you may want to lie low, and wallow under a bedcover whilst you contemplate your lot or your current circumstances. But what you will be doing is nutting out your future because you are more ambitious than you have ever been. On the weekend Mars moves into your career, personal ambitions and reputation house, where it will remain for a while eight month and propelling you on towards your hearts desires. For a Cappy your “hearts desires” are more likely to be career related than of the “fleshy” kind, as you do want to make your mark upon the world. I have not doubt you will be working like a fiend until mid 2014 and beyond as you want to run your own race and be completely independent….and of course a raging success. As everyone is expecting you to be the same loyal team player, this can be a touchy period in your life. There are some difficult cosmic aspects as well that show that others won’t take kindly to your shows of future “independence” and how you plan to get there. You are being scrutinized this week, by parents, VIPs, older people or those in authority, and they can either help to make you or break you – and this same theme continues in much the same vein for months. No matter how hard you try your very ambition seems to be threatening and distasteful to others and your presence is almost grating. So your landscape is steeped in confusion and perhaps even self doubt and uncertainty and you are not so sure of your next steps (but that’s more a reaction or accommodation to the people that currently surround you world). Best course of action when in doubt is to do nothing but tread water because once 2014 arrives, you will be the leader of the pack and there are nothing short of magical Cosmic influences afoot in your Cappy realm. So instead regard this week as a kind of emotional breakthrough toward liberation, and know that what is happening around you is life changing. You will end up on a lot stronger footing and be emotionally happier and at peace and you are getting a sneak preview of this future this week. Hint, it will be an epiphany or insight into your current or previous relationship and all the things that drive you to distraction about it… AQUARIUS What a week, what a month! There is so much “happening” in your world, but socially it’s enormous and a revolving door of old and new friends. Travel figures prominently and this may be you exploring the world you live in or going for a job interview but whether you are employed or not, you are more relaxed about the whole thing. You are developing your own grand-plan that has a Big Picture, because Pluto has caused you to become more philosophical and laissez faire and “que sera sera” about life. You have a better handle on how life works and so the valleys and the potholes don’t hold such a great risk anymore, especially when it comes to matters of the heart. So what if someone trips you up, you’ll dust yourself off and keep moving. When Mars moves houses on the weekend this reinforces this sense of changed perspective and a philosophical outlook about life in general but it will encourage you to explore new ideas and different concepts. , religions and political points of view. You might be excited about a Be a bit careful if you are in a foreign land and in some kind of rivalry with another. For example you may have had a “no work clause” but for whatever reason you need to work within that place, but if you do so, at the very least you can expect a legal battle so be careful. On the one hand you feel as if someone else has the wheel of your life, some Guardian Angel who is propelling you into a certain direction (and more of the philosophical and exploratory mindset) and yet you can’t afford not to work and “get real”. Take one step at time until the road ahead is clearer and you know the “lay of the land” especially if you are overseas or far from home. You got a little side tracked for a while but you are now back on course in your career and personal life and headed where you are supposed to be going and 2014 is going to be HUGE. PISCES Hmmn. Mars going through your house of transformation and baggage for a whole eight months is pretty daunting and it can be fabulous – as in transformational (but drastic) or it can be simply daunting and intense. Issues of love, sex (intimacy) joint finances, who owes what and why and who is more important and why…in both a romantic and financial sense are all issues that can be on the agenda between this weekend and mid 2014. Never ask a question unless you already know the answer (otherwise be prepared to be shocked by the answer) as there could be some shocking, or hurtful revelations. If you are single you will be rampant – perhaps the predator – and Mars energy in the realm of your sex life spells passionate times and “hot” relationships. Others will have to encounter some kind of bête noire who might be a boss, a lover or simply an antagonist who makes your life difficult and is on a completely different page to you (and always will be..). If it’s a family matter, this could be an in-law, an ex, or a step- relative and you are “discussing” issues of shared property and ownership and will structures. Something is changing in your existing world and how or where you live is probably the area that is undergoing the most change (and there are fears and anxieties relating to these adjustments. If you are single the weekend will usher in a long window (eight months!) when new opportunities in your romantic life will become more prevalent (mainly because you will be more magnetic and “sexy”). If fact this weekend you could be inundated with attention when someone makes it very clear that they are interested in you! December marks a fork in the road in your personal affairs and fortunes and the disappointments of 2013 will soon be a thing of the past. You will welcome in 2014 with a restored ego and a renewed confidence (probably as a result of the attention and propositions you will be receiving..). You now have emotional intelligence (as opposed to social and academic intelligence) and won’t repeat the mistakes of the past.
