Dear Diary,Every time I come to China, I dream of learning how to cook the delicious food here. Each time I come, someone teaches me something new.I have learned to make pork dumplings, shredded peppers and potatoes, eggplant, and tomato and egg. Those are just a few of many delicious dishes in China so I hope to continue to learn as I am here. The next dish I dream of learning to cook is soup for hot pot. I think this can be so delicious and I want to share this dish with my family in America.It is difficult to cook a lot of American food in China because China has different spices and vegetables than we have in America, but I take the challenge and occasionally cook something American for myself and my sister. We love to make banana bread, a simple dish that tastes good and reminds us of home.I believe that you can do anything you put your mind to, easy or hard. My moto in life is "I can do hard things." If I ever come to something that seems too hard, I tell myself this and then I feel motivation to keep going.I feel proud of the accomplishments I've made but I try to look ahead to the future and work hard to make it a happy and properous one.

每次我来到中国，我都梦想能够在这里煮些好吃的食物。每次我来，有些人会教我一些新的东西。我已经会包猪肉混沌，会炒土豆丝，茄子，西红柿炒番茄。这些只是中华美食的九牛一毛。我希望在这里我可以继续学习。下面我想学的菜就是煮火锅的底料。我认为这个很好吃，我可以和家人在美国分享这道美味。 在中国煮美式食物很难，因为中国的调料和蔬菜跟美国的不一样。但如果有机会我也会偶尔煮给我妹妹和我吃。我们喜欢做香蕉面包，简单，但很好吃，有家乡的味道。 我相信如果把心思投入进去，你可以做好任何一件事情，无论难易。我生活的信条就是“我能做困难的事。”当我遇到困难时我就会想起它，并且有了继续前进的动力。我对我所有的成就感到自豪，但我会继续向前奋斗，努力工作去创造一个更加美好富有的明天！ 不要忘记你也可以做困难的事情。 |
