看影视剧学地道口语(5)：你逃不掉的！

经过千辛万苦，艰难险阻，终于如释重负，呼吸到自由的空气，摆脱困境了！这时用英语怎样表达呢？可以用off the hook这个短语。【上期回顾：spit it out有话快说！】

Hook是钩子的意思。Off the hook脱钩，其实就是脱身，或是摆脱责任的意思。例如：

We have confirmed that the man was two thousand miles away in Los Angeles at the time of the murder, sir. So as far as we're concerned, he is off the hook, and no further investigation is required.我们已经证实，谋杀案案发的时候，此人正在两千英里以外的洛杉矶市，所以对于我们来说，他不可能参与此案。不再需要对他进行调查了。

其反义短语not off the hook就是表示逃不掉咯。例如：

If you are caught coming in late again, you won't get off the hook so easily anymore. 如果我们再发现你晚回来，绝不会轻易放过你！

电影情景再现：

《玩具总动员3》妈妈催促孩子们把玩具全都收拾好，捐赠出去。自己的玩具不知如何处理，但是可以让别的孩子玩得很开心。
