Registered in the Cayman Islands, Novast is a transnational specialty pharmaceutical company based on high and new technology. Starting from different business strategies, Novast owns the following three wholly-owned subsidiaries: Novast Laboratories (China) Ltd., Novast Pharmaceuticals, Ltd. and Novast Laboratories, Inc.. Among them, the former two subsidiaries are located in the Export Processing Zone of the State Economic and Technological Development Zone in Nantong, while the third one lies in Virginia, U.S.

It only takes 20 months for Novast to prepare, check and accept production facilities. Production facilities possess both a sealing treatment and production capacity for general pharmaceutical preparations. Its plants have reached international standards, and have successfully gained approval from the United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA) after submitting many applications for new drugs which will come onto the market in the United States.

By virtue of its specialization and experience in research and development of preparation technologies, a standardized quality guarantee system and solid infrastructure, Novast enjoys broad development prospects in various fields and makes itself unique among pharmaceutical industries in China. The first product was approved for entry into the American market by the FDA at the end of 2010. Novast will become China's first pharmaceutical company to develop and produce prescription drugs for the United States, Europe and the rest of the international market under standardized management.

The technological management team of Novast consists of all kinds of management and technical talents with doctor’s, master’s or bachelor’s degrees, coming from international pharmaceutical companies in North America, China and India. They have an excellent career record of successfully converting basic scientific concepts to marketed drugs. More than 100 kinds of pharmaceutical preparations developed by the team have successfully come onto the United States market or are being certified by the FDA. A variety of forms are included such as timed release, controlled release and immediate release dosage, chewable tablets and capsules, anesthesia and powerful drug preparations, and so on.
