The Milan Expo 2015 is still quite far away. But perhaps with sharing proposals for the international pavilions, we can get a hint of what each country has in store for Expo 2015. Our latest one comes from Brazilian firm ATRIA Arquitectos + tiarstudio based in Italy. The team recently won second place in the competition to design the Brazilian Pavilion. Click above image to view slideshow Aerial view of the pavilion "The brazilian pavilion may be the concretization of the jovial role that our country plays in the international scenario and of the exemplary respect which brazilians pay to the most diversified cultures. Overall, the pavilion’s construction is intended to be a lesson of humility and governance and to use the creativity and skills of our people as a paradigm capable of supporting the new changes that the world demands." The biggest of these areas, called 'Piazza Brasil', is surrounded by two other resting zones. It is also possible to observe the pergola spaces that work as channels of cross circulation." This variation of closed and open areas, balconies, creates an innovative spacial relationship, allowing the visitor to go into diverse and stimulating environments, all well illuminated and ventilated."
