The whole year task is designing from small fashion and industry designs (shoes + bag, arm-chair +
lap-top, car + garage, beach villa + boat) to bigger scales building projects (stadium + podium).
Total fluidity on all scales for all programmes. The final products integrate all first 3 double-
designs into a single complex.
 
整年的任务是从小尺度的时尚设计,工业设计(包括鞋子和包,扶椅和笔记本,车和车库,海景别墅和船)到更大尺度的建筑设计(体育馆和颁奖台)。在所有尺度上所有建筑类别完全的动态流动。最终的产品融合三种双重设计为单独的综合体。
 
 
Our abstract idea behind is the interaction between user and object and object to object.  The shoe
is determined by the shape of the user’s foot. It is stretchable in all necessary directions. One
shoe fits to a certain amount of different foot sizes which determines outer appearance of the
shoe. When the shoe is adapting to the foot it changes its skin structure and color. All these
features enable individualization according to size and shape of the foot.
 
Structure of the skin enables necessary stretching. Skin is diversified to more and less
stretchable areas according to geometry of human foot. System of folding and bubble skin structure
is providing necessary stretching abilities of the shoe. Inside the shoe is implemented soft
stretchable supporting system to hold the shape of the shoe. Shoe is created from stretchable soft
polymer materials. Bubble parts are made of transparent stretchable plastic, which reacts to
stretching by color change. Color-changing polymer contains small ring-shaped molecules
called “mechanophores” in the center of polymer chains. In response to mechanical force, these
rings break, changing the color of the polymer. Additional color change is realized by changing
geometry of the folding parts.
 
我们的抽象理念是使用者和物体之间的互动以及物体与物体之间的相互关系。鞋子的造型取决于使用者的脚的尺寸。它可以在在所有需要的方向伸缩。一种鞋子可以适合一系列不同脚的尺寸并且可以产生不同的鞋子的造型外观。当鞋子适应脚的尺寸的时候,它改变它的表皮结构以及颜色。所有这些特征可以根据脚的不同形状和尺寸让用户个性化。

The bag can be used as a backpack and a leg pack. In backpack mode the user is able to carry more
items while in the leg pack mode it provides more freedom. The Bag is made out of stretchable
material similar to the shoe. In different modes of usage, it reveals different colors.   
 
包可以被用座位背包和挎包。包也是用类似于鞋的可伸缩材料制成。在不同的模式的使用中,它显示出不同的颜色。




The chair has a peace and an activated condition. The weight determines the level of activation,
which also means revealing a different color and shape. The chair consists of three different types
of materials. A stiff supporting structure is holding soft foam which is covered by a semi-
stretchable skin. When a user sits on the chair the soft part is pushed through the skin creating a
bubble effect. Meanwhile the colors of the “bubbles” change.
 
椅子有静止和触动两种状态。重量决定了触动程度,包括显示出不同的颜色和造型。椅子由三种不同的材料组成,一个高硬度的支撑结构维持被半伸缩表皮覆盖的软体的海绵。当使用者坐在椅子上的时候,软体部分通过表皮被挤压出来,创造出泡泡的效果。同时泡泡的颜色也改变了。



The garage has an activated and a peace position. In peace position it partly merges into the
surrounding landscape. The top of the garage is on the same level as the ground and it stays in its
position. As the car approaches it, the system of paths is pulled down revealing the garage.  
 
The car is transformable from a two seats to a four seats. This is provided by two shells moving
apart from each other. The gap between them is filled with a stretchable material that merges to
outer shells.  
车库也有触动和静止两种状态,在静止的时候,它暂时和周围的环境融为一体。车库顶部和地面是水平的,它处在它的位置,当车接近的时候,车道系统被降低显示出车库。
汽车可以从两座位转变为四车位。这被两个壳体向不同方向移动所产生。在两壳之间被覆盖着可以伸缩的材料,和外壳体混合为一体,伸缩材料随着受力变化颜色。



Bin Lu; originally from Hangzhou, China studied under Zaha Hadid at the University of Applied
Arts in Vienna, die Angewandte. He earned his master degree of architecture from Southern
California Institute of Architecture (SCI-Arc) where he was an assistant teacher for the studio
Tom Wiscombe. He also worked as a research assistant at the University of North Carolina
(UNC), Digital Design Center. In 2007, he won the North Carolina Out-of-State Special Talent
Architectural International Prize.
 
Bin Lu is well known for the San Francisco bay bridge bus terminal which the first
architectural project using alageTech on building fa?ade. His works have been published
on several international design magazines, including: San Francisco bay bridge bus
terminal, “4(x+y) =world” series fashion design works, Recon 2.0/Resident Chroma I, Color is
One/ Resident Chroma II and etc.
 
He was previously senior design architect for EMERGENT in Los Angeles, specializes in digital
design methodologies and scripting,right-hand to Principal Tom Wiscombe. He was in charge
of various internationally renowned projects, including the Garak-Dong Wholesale Market, the
Forrest Place Public Artwork, the Flower Street Bioreactor, the Land Art Generator, and the
Shenyang Arena. Most notably, Bin was Senior Designer for Shenyang National Sports Center,
which has been hailed as one of the most important sports buildings of the 12th National games
of China.
 
Bin Lu found BLUA which is a design group dedicated to explore the future of contemporary architecture.
 It is a crossover platform to transform arts (drawing, painting.etc), biology, scince into architecture.
BLUA works across scales on design projects in a range of fields including architecture, urban design,
industrial design, fashion design and advertising. Our ongoing design research involves the creation of
generative design methodologies developed from a series way of using color.
 
 
鲁彬,出生于中国杭州,他学习于维也纳应用工艺美术大学,建筑大师扎哈?哈迪德工作室,并且在美国南加州建筑学院获得荣誉建筑学硕士学位,并任教于美国南加州建筑学院,他是汤姆?威斯康工作室的助理教师,他也曾任教于美国北卡罗来纳大学数码设计中心。2007年获得美国北卡罗来纳州外基金特殊建筑天赋研究奖金。
 
鲁彬以旧金山贝大桥汽车站设计而被人所熟知,世界首列运用海藻科技的建筑设计方案。其作品被广泛的发表在多家国际性的设计杂志上,包括:旧金山贝大桥汽车站,4(x+y) =world系列时尚设计,居住色彩1, 居住色彩2等等。
 
鲁彬曾担任美国涌现组建筑事务所的设计总监,特长于参数化设计方法论以及编程,创始人汤姆?威斯康的得力助手。他负责多项国际知名项目,包括:首尔格瑞克批发市场,佩斯公共艺术装置,洛山矶花街生物反应器,杜拜大地艺术生物反应器,以及沈阳柔道馆。最值得注意的是,鲁彬是沈阳国家体育中心的首席设计师,而此设计被誉为中国12届全国运动会最重要的建筑之一。
 
鲁彬成立BLU建筑工作室,一家致力于探索当代建筑未来的设计机构。BLUA是一个建筑中融入艺术,绘画,仿生学,科技等学科的交叉平台,其专注于发展适合未来生活的整合式建筑,并突破以往类型化的建筑定义。工作室致力于不同的尺度的设计,包括建筑,城市设计,工业设计,时尚设计以及广告传媒,最近的研究领域包括创立一系列革命性的色彩设计理论。
