Around 100 agriculture enterprises, including farmer cooperatives and family farms, will show off their fresh produce for trading at the Pudong New Area Agricultural Products Exhibition, organizers said on Tuesday. The annual exhibition, in its sixth year, will present more than 500 types of agriculture products grown by exhibitors. It will be held at the Yuanshen Sports Center Stadium this Friday to Sunday. "The exhibition has been helpful to build agriculture brands, diversify market supply and increase income for farmers," said a spokesman for the Pudong New Area Agricultural Commission, organizer of the exhibition. This year's fair will feature an online display section that will include 12 well-known agricultural enterprises and cooperatives. In a joint promotion campaign, the exhibitors will sell their products online at favorable prices. During the event, the organizer will also host a forum bringing together financial professionals and farm workers to explore solutions to fund-raising difficulties faced by agricultural enterprises.
