In her project "Chasing the Light," she uses pastels to capture the idea of a world deep in the process of a terrifying change.
Her work is so realistic, you almost feel like you're right on the boat with her.
While her form is different from most people exposing climate change, it is none the less powerful.
Some of her work depicts massive glaciers...the ones that come to mind when you think of the Arctic.
Others show the melted ice--the oncoming future of the polar ice caps--if nothing is done to reverse climate change.
The cool tones of Forman's work bring a subdued, almost eerie vibe to a land that is in the midst of quiet chaos.
Hopefully, Forman's art will awaken the world to a bleak reality...
...rather than capturing a piece of forgotten history.
