Browser CompatibilityWhile all major browsers have been tested thoroughly, it's impossible to test against every possible web page configuration. It's also worth noting that there are some minor side effects when Internet Explorer is running in QuirksMode (no DOCTYPE specified), particularly in versions prior to 9. These side effects are mostly style related (borders not being rounded, etc.). So basically, always use a DOCTYPE (it's considered good practice)! There is another "special" issue that is related to IE only. Sometimes the right side of the page will have a small area that is not overlayed. This is due to the way IE measures it's margins. Adding the following style to the page will fix this issue (but it will also affect the appearance of the entire page): body { margin: 0 auto; } The following browsers have been tested thoroughly with this script, and while not all browsers have been tested I've gotten no reports of issues with others (such as Netscape, Konquerer, etc.):
