原文URL：https://ask./en/question/29797/kvm-entry-failed-hardware-error-0x0/ Hi All, I have newly installed Openstack and able to access the dashboard, i'm creating an instance from the image "cirros-0.3.2-x86_64" uploaded as instructed from the documentation, while instance is created and has an IP assigned, i can't ping the IP, when i go to Console it is just empty but has this in header "Connected (unencrypted to: QEMU (instance-0000000d)" it is just blank, the console log is blank, all services including nova/neutron are running, nova-compute log has no errors and finally i found a log in Compute node /var/log/libvirt/qemu/instance-0000000d.log, it has an error "KVM: entry failed, hardware error 0x0" the compute node is running on a physical linux server that has KVM and on it the VM compute node is created, could this be the reason for the console not showing anything? Edit the [libvirt] section in the /etc/nova/nova-compute.conf file to modify this key: [libvirt] ... virt_type = qemu |
