DescriptionThis trumpet shaped sterling silver Tiffany & Co. vase is a wonderful example of the Edwardian style. Four clusters of flowers and scrolls, which sit against a background of lattice work, decorate both the rim and base of the piece. The ruffle effect is produced by the little flowers connecting the clusters which create simple, but beautiful, detail. This vase is approx. 12” tall, 4 ?” in diameter at its opening, and weighs approx. 17.5 troy ounces. The markings on the vase are “Tiffany & Co.”, “Makers”, “Sterling silver 925-1000”, pattern number “13769”, order number “1218”, and the letter “C”, designating this to being made during Charles T. Cook’s presidency at Tiffany, 1902-1907. |
