The Film Karl screened before the pre-fall show "Reincarnation" with Pharrell and Cara Delevinge, he resurrected Emperor Franz Joseph I and Empress Elisabeth of Austria ("Sissi").
There is also another connection between Chanel and Sissi. Romy Schneider the icon of the cinema played Sissi in 1950s trilogy. Thus, Karl had plenty of reason to make Sissi alive of his incredible collection with the lace and ribbons and elaborate sleeve details of Winterhalter's portraits of Sissi, but Lagerfeld balanced old things by black leather biker with jeanes.
