力克·胡哲个人简介：

力克·胡哲（Nick Vujicic）出生时罹患海豹肢症，天生没有四肢，曾经三次尝试自杀。10岁那年，第一次意识到“人要为自己的快乐负责”。

　　他是澳洲第一批进入主流学校的残障儿童，也是高中第一位竞选学生会主席的残障者，并获压倒性胜利，被当地报纸封为“勇气主席”。21岁大学毕业后，他取得会计及财务规划双学位，熟稔投资，并拥有自己的公司。

　　他是第一位登上《冲浪客》杂志封面的菜鸟冲浪客，在夏威夷与海龟游泳，在哥伦比亚潜水；踢足球、溜滑板、打高尔夫球样样行。

　　他16岁第一次在小型聚会中跟同学分享自己的故事。在决定以“激励他人”为生命目标后，创设“没有四肢的人生”非营利组织，组织各种创意行善活动，至今已在五大洲超过25个国家作了1500多场演讲，给予（接受）数百万个拥抱，自称“拥抱机器”。至今已有六亿人听说了他的勇气人生。

　　2012年2月12日，力克与宫原佳苗在加州幸福成婚，步入了婚姻的殿堂。2013年2月13日下午，力克胡哲和宫原佳苗的儿子Kiyoshi James vujicic 出生了，一家三口生活得很幸福。

To wish for change will change nothing. To make the decision to take action right now will change everything!

相信我，失去希望的损失远超过失去四肢。

Believe me, the loss of hope is far worse than the loss of limbs.

真正改变命运的，并不是我们的机遇，而是我们的态度。

But there is real power in controlling your attitude, adjusting it to counter moods and stop behaviors that may threaten your ability to live without limits.

每条堵住的路，都有一个出口，每一种“无能为力”之中都有“能力”。你来到这个世界是有作用的，所以不要因为输了一次就认为永远不可能赢。只要活着，总会有出路。

For every blocked path, there is an open one. For every 'disability,' there is an ability. You were put on this earth to serve a purpose, so don't ever let a loss convince you that there are no ways to win. As long as you draw breath with the rest of us mortals, there is always a way.

f you believe you can change your life for the better or make a positive mark in your town or your state or your world, act upon those beliefs.

If you have identified someone whom you'd like to spend the rest of your life with, why not act upon that belief?

生下来就没有四肢并不是上帝惩罚我的方式。我现在已经明白了这一点，并且开始意识到，这种“残疾”实际上会增强我的能力，让我更好地以演讲家和布道者的身份实现上帝为我设定的目标。

Being born without arms and legs was not God's way of punishing me. I know that now. I have come to realize that this 'disability' would actually heighten my ability to serve His purpose as a speaker and evangelist.

我会失败，距离完美更是差了十万八千里，但是我们的所作所为本身就是成果—是诚心信奉真理至深的结果。

I fail and am far from perfect. But deeds are merely the fruit—the result of the depth of a true conviction of the truth. Truth is what sets us free, not purpose.

精力应该放在解决方案上，而不是被浪费在问题上；应该专心做事，而不是一味忧虑。

I eventually learned to focus on solutions rather than problems, on doing instead of stewing. I found that when I got rolling on something, there was a snowball effect.
