My Analysis of an Public Service Advertisement on Animal Protection

The advertisement--we are the killer family, was made by CCTV several years ago,which has had a strong influence on millions of people.
It is constructed in a different and creative language.In consequence,not only does it attract many people's attention,but also makes them begin to think highly of the animal protection and take some actions.First of all,the color of the pictures of the animals are black and white.Secondly,it uses a few words,with the form of parallelism,showing us the phonomena of killing animals in our lifes
.In the end of the advertisement,the family is taking a photo who are smiling except the little girl.The theme is simple but unforgettable,drivng us to think again and again.
It is no wonder that different people may have their own original understandings after watching it.For example,some might think of their daily life and check out whether they did the same things while others may disagree with it,considering that it is much too exaggerate.Another factor of this advertisement is that it no longer shows us how cute and smart the animals are to ask people to protect them,or many of them are killed by the human,but provides us with the reality that it is our desire that leads to the killing.We should not buy something made of rhinoceros,ivories,tibetan antelopes and so on.Only when the buying stops,the killing can too.
