“可口可乐计划”2009年初-2011年底，开始只是在大型超市后买了1吨可口可乐，然后工作在工作室搭建的简易“厨房”开始，同时绘制了大量草图并做了很多不同的相关试验。2009年底，决定将工作地点转移至辽宁省丹东市（中国相邻朝鲜边境的城市），并雇佣10名普通工人搭建十口150*120 cm的铁锅和简易防雨棚，同时购买了十几吨木材开始了可乐计划的核心工作，1年半连续不停作业，10个工人工作6000多小时，煮了127吨可口可乐，所“萃取”的可口可乐残渣有40多立方，同时令我“惊喜”的是在“萃取”过程中，公安、消费、边防、环境保护等不同部门全部前来对我的行为进行调查和取证，并缴纳了部分罚款。
Coca Cola Projectwas a project I’d worked on from early 2009 to late 2011. At first, I bought one ton of Coca Cola from some big supermarkets and then built a make-do “kitchen” in my studio. I drew a large number of drafts and conducted many experiments. In the end of 2009, I decided to move to Dandong (a Chinese border city facing the North Korea) in Liaoning Province to carry on the project.I hired 10 workers to build 10 iron pans of the size of 150*120cm and some simple canopies. I also bought a dozen tons of timber as a core part of the Coca Cola Project. During the next one and a half years, it took the 10 workers over 6,000 hours to boil 127 tons of Coca Cola. The “extraction”(or say residues) reached over 40 cubic meters. The process of “extracting” came as a “pleasant surprise” to me. Various authorities including public security bureau, consumer protection division, border defense department and environmental protection department paid me a visit, investigating. I even paid some fines for it.
