 As we all know, merchants always propagandize their products by making attractive advertisements or images which show the best function of their products, in this way,consumers are drawes to buy their commodities. Images can reflect the function between users and products and tell customers product's advantage. I'll make a example that a advertisement of shoe polish, above picture. The image depict an action that a policeman are performing official business that he maybe catch a theif and he looking at his shoe in order to know the orientation of thief meanwhile doesn't expose himself. The action shows the shoes with their shoe polish can be used as mirror, which means the quality of their shoe polish is perfect. The policeman doesn't gaze at the viewers and the man represented in the image by a medium shot ,an oblique angle and at eye level. In terms of salience, the element of the image have maximun salience with a very small logo, which can make the full of space of advertisement to show their products. A good image can represent our experience of the world that we will willing to buy the commodity.
