六大成功秘诀  

人们一直问我：“成功的秘诀是什么？”今天，我要告诉大家六大成功秘诀。

People ask me all the time , “What is the secret to success?” Now today , I am going to give you the six rules of success. 

 秘诀1：相信自己。许多年轻人从父母、老师及其他人哪里获得人生建议。但是，最重要的是，你必须从心底问自己：你想成为谁？不是成为什么，而是成为谁。

The first rule is:Trust yourself . So many young people are getting so much advice from their parents and from their teachers and from everyone . But what is the most important is that you have to dig deep down , dig deep down and ask yourselves, who do you want to be ? Not what ,but who. 

 秘诀2：打破常规。我们的生活中充斥着规则。我要求大家打破规则，而非法律，只是打破规则。我妻子的T恤山写着这样一句话：“守规矩的女人很少会创造历史”。其实，男人也是如此。

Rule number two is:Break the rules. We have so many rules in life about everything. I say break the rules, not the law, but break the rules. My wife has a Tshirt that says, “Well behaved women rarely make history.”Well, the same is true of men. 

我不在意规则，我也成功了，剩下的故事人尽皆知。这让我想到了秘诀3：不要害怕失败。无论我尝试任何事，我都做好准备迎接失败。

I did not pay attention to the rules. And I made it and the rest is history, which, of course, brings me to rule number three: Do not be afraid to fail. Anything I have ever attempted, I was always willing to fail. 

 因为你相信自己，相信梦想，所以你不断拼搏进取，这样成功必然会到来。

You keep pushing because you believe in yourself and in your vision and you know that it is the right thing to do, and success will come. 

接下来是秘诀4：不要聆听反对者的声音。你无数次听到有人在你面前指手画脚，告诉你这也不能做、那也不能做、告诉你这事从来没有人做过。想像一下：如果比尔·盖茨在听到反对者的声音时放弃会怎么样？

That bring me to rule number four, which is: Do not listen to the naysayers. How many times have you heard that you can not do this and you can not do that and it is never been done before? Just imagine if Bill Gates had quit when people said it can not be done. 

 因此，我从来不会听别人说“你不行”，我坚持聆听自己内心的声音“是的，你行！”

So I never listen to that , “You can not.” I always listen to myself and say, “yes, you can .”

接下来是秘诀5，也是所有秘诀中最重要的：拼命工作。你从来不愿意因为自己不够努力而面对失败，我无法接受因为自己不够努力而输掉一场比赛或一次竞选，我永远都是竭尽全力。

And that bring me to rule number five, which is the most important rule of all: Work your butt off. You never want to fail because you did not work hard enough. I never wanted to lose a competition or lose an election because I did not work hard enough. I always believed leaving no stone unturned. 

 记住：你无法将双手插在裤兜里而爬上成功之梯。

Just remember, you can not climb the ladder of success with your hands in your pockets.

秘诀6也是非常重要的：要懂得回报。无论你选择什么人生道路，你必须懂得回报。回报你的社区。回报你的州，回报你的国家。

And that takes me to rule number six, which is a very important rule: It is about giving back. Whatever path that you take in your lives, you must always find time to give something back, something back to your community, and give something back to your state or to your country.
