- This video shows that Active protection system test of K-2 tank. This was progressed by DAPA and ADD in Feb. 2012. APS is a high tech survival device in order to protect itself from enemy's anti-tank missile and rocket and it is composed of a 3 dimensional search and tracking radar, thermal detection and tracker, control computer, launcher and responsive bomb. After making a decision whether it is a threat or not, in prior to search and track the target, it can neutralize the enemy's anti-tank missile and rocket before attacking the our own tanks |
