A metro (大都市的) Atlanta woman said she tried everything, even biting (咬) a suspected (有嫌疑的) kidnapper (绑匪), until she got her daughter to safety. The incident (事件) occurred (发生) in broad daylight (在光天化日之下；公开地) at a McDonald's on McDonough Drive in Gwinnett County, which is just northeast (东北部) of Atlanta. The mother, who asked not to be identified (暴露出…的身份), was in the back seat of her car and had just put her 10-month-old girl in the car seat (婴儿坐席). That’s when 19-year-old Sterlyn Reynolds, who’d been watching the family for hours, came out of the McDonald’s, opened the car door and started yanking (猛拉) the baby out of her seat, police said. “I thought he was going to break my baby’s arm,” her mother said. The baby’s grandfather said he came out of the McDonald’s and started fighting the suspect (嫌疑犯), who then bit him. The young mom also fought back (还击), biting the suspect back until he let her baby go, she said. Police said Reynolds ran away (跑掉) to a nearby hotel (附近的酒店) where he was arrested (逮捕).
