To restore your root password, if you run YouTrack as Windows service, please follow these instructions: - Stop the service from [services.msc: JetBrains YouTrack]
- Navigate
C:/ProgramData/JetBrains/YouTrack/conf/youtrack.jvmoptions . If youtrack.jvmoptions file is missing simply create one by renaming config file example (youtrack.jvmoptions.dist ). - Add
-Djetbrains.charisma.restoreRootPassword=true option to the configuration file. Configuration file format is described in the file itself. - Run the service as usual
