Man steals over 1 million worth of gold for wedding

In January this year, a man surnamed Li stole gold worth over 1 million yuan from a jewelry store in Suzhou. After selling the gold, Li bought an apartment and a car and gave some of the money to his girlfriend's parents. Li was sentenced 12 years and 6 months in prison with a fine of 150,000 yuan.
