【知名大厨】桑德拉?李

Well, the person I want to talk about is Sandra Lee. She is an American chef, host and also an author.

我想要讲的是桑德拉?李。她是一位美国厨师,主持人,也是一位作家。

I first got to know her when I was watching a cooking show called Semi-Homemade Cooking with Sandra Lee.


我第一次知道她,是在看一个名叫《半自制菜肴》的烹饪节目时。

She advocates making food using about 70 percent ready-made products and 30 percent freshingredients. In her shows and recipes, Sandra described how she'd made Italian Baked Pork Chops, Mushroom Risotto, Pizza Pinwheels and many other types of food.


她提倡做饭时使用70%加工好的成品和30%新鲜配料。在节目和菜谱中,桑德拉描述了她是如何制做意大利烤猪排,意大利蘑菇饭,风车披萨以及其他多种食物的。

Firstly, I think she is sensitive and smart on how to cook. The '70% prepared and 30% fresh ingredients' formula is her trademark.

Despite her born gift, she is also a diligent and productive chef. From 2003 until now, she hosted a bunch of cooking series, and has written more than 20 books. She also released a cooking magazine based on her show in 2009.

At last, she writes extensively to describe how to decorate table in accordance with the theme of meals. The improved dining areas wet people's appetites, creating a delighted mood.

Generally, that's why I think Sandra Lee is so good at cooking.
