The ACTcalculator policy is designed to ensure fairness for all examinees, avoiddisturbances in the testing room, and protect the security of the testmaterials.

A permittedcalculator may be used on the ACT mathematics test only.

考生只能使用合格的计算器在ACT考试中。

It is the examinee’s responsibility to know whether their calculator is permitted.

ACT考试中关于计算器使用的重要提示

Calculatorsbuilt into cell phones or any other electronic communication devices

计算器中不允许携带通讯功能。

Calculatorsthat make noise—Turn off the sound.

计算器如果有发音功能，请关闭声音。

Sharingcalculators during the test is not permitted, and the test proctor will notprovide a calculator.

Examinees areresponsible for ensuring that their calculator works properly. If theircalculator uses batteries, the batteries should be strong enough to lastthroughout the testing session.
