“ 美国学生在拿到多所学校的录取后，选校会更实际一点，除了学校的名气，他们还考虑学费、地理位置、气候等。因此，确实会有学生选择离家近的州内大学，而放弃HYP这样的顶级名校。新生报到率越高，对学校来说自然越好。为了提高新生报到率，大学会比较倾向于录取ED申请的学生。这也解释了为什么ED录取率一般高于RD录取率。
