In the past 10 years, Shanghai-based photographer Zhang Haitao captured almost every corner of the city as his shooting projects covered dazzling skyscrapers, classic traditional buildings and busy city dwellers —— ''Shanghai'' seems to be the constant theme for the native.
Once asked if continuously only shooting one city ever gets boring, Zhang responded, ''As the saying goes, ''a photo can be taken in 1/125s, but capturing a piece of art can take one or five or even 20 years''. Shanghai has rich stories that I can shoot for a lifetime.'' Indeed, the city has taken on a changing face through his lens that is never replicated. ▲Lujiazui ▲Zhejianglu Bridge ▲Lujiazui ▲Lujiazui ▲Jinmao Tower ▲Crossing ▲Lujiazui ▲West Nanjing Road ▲The Bund ▲Harbour Ring Plaza ▲Lao Chengxiang ▲Wujiaochang
