    Abstract:BMIresinsolutionsynthesizedbyusingBMIresinandthesolventofacetonewasmixedwith

    CBNabrasiveinproperproportiontoprepareslurry,andthenthewhetstonewaspreparedwiththe

    processofcasting,acetoneevaporatingandresincuring.Thebestdosageoftheacetonewasanalyzedwith

    themicrostructureofthewhetstone.Experimentresultshaveshownthat,whenthecontentofacetoneis

    under16.9,theCBNabrasiveisnotwell

    distributedintheBMIresin.However,whenthecontentof

    acetoneiS23.4

    29.0,theCBNabrasivedistributesuniformly.Nevertheless,asthecontentoface

    tonewasupto33.8%,theCBNabrasivedepositsintheBMIresin.Inaddition.whenthecontentoface

    toneis23.4andtheBMIresincontentisintheregionof79/6

    169/6,theflexurestrengthandhardness

    ofthewhetstonearereinforcedwiththeincreaseofthecontentofBMIresin.IfthecontentofBMIresiniS

    beyond16,itisdifficulttovolatilizetheacetoneastheviscosityofslurriesincreases,whichresultsin

    theincreaseoftheporosityandthedecreaseoftheflexuralstrengthandthehardnessofthewhetstone.
