To get the measurement tape to be 100 % accurate, you have to print out the pattern in full scale (and not use the print option "fit to page").
GARTER ST (worked in the round):
1 ridge = 2 rounds. * K 1 round and P 1 round *, repeat from *-*.
GARTER ST (back and forth):
K all rows. 1 ridge = 2 rows K.
INCREASE TIP:
Inc as follows before marker: Work until 1 st remains before marker and inc 1 st by making a YO.
Inc as follows after marker: Work until 1 st after marker and inc 1 st by making a YO.
On next row K YO twisted (i.e. work in the back loop of st instead of front) to avoid hole.

SKIRT:
Worked top down in the round on circular needle.
Cast on 140-156-168-188-212-236 sts on circular needle size 4 mm with light beige. Work in stocking st for 2 cm, P 1 round (= folding edge), continue in stocking st for 2 cm. REMEMBER THE KNITTING TENSION Now measure the piece from here.
On next round insert 8 markers in the piece as follows: Insert 1st marker at beg of round (= mid back), then insert a marker with alternately 18-20-21-24-27-30 sts and 17-19-21-23-26-29 sts between every marker. NOTE: In size L there are 21 sts between every marker. Move the markers upwards when working.
On next round beg inc. Inc 1 st before each of the 8 markers - READ INCREASE TIP. Repeat inc alternately before and after every marker every 6th-6th-6th-5th-5th-5th round until finished measurements (= 18-19-20-24-26-28 times) = 284-308-328-380-420-460 sts. AT THE SAME TIME when piece measures 31-33-34-36-37-39 cm, switch to mauve. When piece measures 11-11-12-12-13-13 cm with mauve, switch to dandelion. Work 1 ridge in GARTER ST - see explanation above. Piece measures approx. 42-44-46-48-50-52 cm. Cast off. Make sure that the cast-off edge is not too tight.
POCKETS:
Worked back and forth on circular needle.
Cast on 27 sts with light beige on circular needle size 4 mm. Work 2 ridges in GARTER ST - see explanation above. Then K 1 row from RS. Switch to mauve and K 1 row from WS. Then work as follows: 2 edge st in garter st, stocking st until 2 sts remain, 2 edge sts in garter st. Switch to light beige and continue with stocking st with 2 edge sts in garter st in each side until pocket measures 4 cm, adjust so that last row is worked from RS. Switch to dandelion and K 1 row from WS, then work 1 row in stocking st with 2 edge sts in garter st in each side. Switch to light beige and continue until pocket measures 9 cm in total. Now work 3 ridges over all sts. K 1 row from RS and cast off with K from WS. Fasten off. Knit another pocket the same way.
ASSEMBLY:
Fold the hem double towards the WS and fasten with neat stitches. Leave a little opening to thread the elastic through.
Sew pockets on skirt with light beige as follows: Place the two pockets on mid front, place them with one side towards each inc line. Fasten pockets on skirt by sewing one and one st along the edges.
