A French consultive industry body, the Conseil Superieur de l'Energie (CSE), has increased draft government targets for renewable energy.

(PV-Tech讯)法国机构Conseil Superieur de l'Energie (CSE)日前将政府对于可再生能源的草案目标提高。

The French government will publish the decree in a few weeks’ time, outlining ambitious renewable energy proposals that include solar capacity to nearly triple and onshore wind capacity to more than double by 2023. The energy law also stipulates that 40% of French power should come from a renewable source by 2030.

法国政府将在几周后发布法令，概述雄心勃勃的可再生能源计划，其中包括到2023年太阳能装机容量增加近两倍，陆上风能装机容量增加一倍以上。该能源法还规定，到2030年40%的法国电力应该来自可再生能源。

The amended draft decree was approved by the CSE, and now contains plans to boost onshore wind capacity from around 15,000MW end 2018 to up to 25,000 by 2023. For solar, targets increased from 10,200MW by end of 2018 to 30,000MW by end of 2023. In addition, modest targets for a few 100MW of other clean energy technologies such as geothermal electricity, biogas and floating offshore wind, were also approved.

“We were waiting for this instrument for months. In fact, it constitutes the roadmap renewable energy. It will enable to launch and sequence the future tenders for several major sectors of our industry, “said Jean-Louis Bal, president of the Renewable Energy Association, in a statement.
